各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

As July arrives, our students are about to embark on their summer vacation. Within this short two-week period, we have arranged a series of activities to help everyone enjoy and celebrate.
On 2nd July, we held a joint school graduation ceremony. Primary 6 students, parents, award recipients and performers all gathered at the Sha Tin Town Hall, celebrating together with graduates from four other schools under the same sponsoring body. This solemn ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter in the graduates' lives. Although the pandemic has passed, its impact on students remains. To enhance the self-care abilities, communication skills and empathy of our Primary 4 students, we organized a two-day, one-night self-care camp for them. The students performed excellently, actively participating, and this has filled us with anticipation for next year's cross-border activities. On the afternoon of 3rd July, we continued to hold activities for our kindergarten students, allowing them to learn new knowledge in a joyful manner while experiencing the warm atmosphere of the school.

七月五日（星期五）學校再為六年級畢業生在校內舉行一個畢業禮，希望他們能真正感受老師、家人的祝福，又可以與同級同學相聚。這天很多家長出席參與。中午，我們一起前往附近一所酒樓舉行畢業聚餐，這是第一次舉行。雖然酒微菜薄，但大家都高興地談天說地、拍照。老師更與同學玩遊戲及播放短片，令大家也樂在其中。

On 5th July, we once again held a graduation ceremony on campus for our Primary 6 graduates. On this special day, they not only felt the blessings of their teachers and families, but also created beautiful memories with their classmates. At noon, we all went to a nearby restaurant for a graduation luncheon. Amid the laughter and chatter, everyone took photos to commemorate the occasion. Teachers and students also enjoyed games and short films, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

在這星期，我們的老師及同學代表也領取了「支持種族友善校園」嘉許狀及第二屆小小導賞員大賽的表現優良獎。衷心多謝老師及學生所付出的努力。在星期六、日，林健輝老師帶領10位足球隊成員前往順德參加足球交流活動。他們不單有密集式的訓練、又與當地學生比賽，令大家獲益良多。

In addition, over the past two weeks, our teachers and student representatives received the "Support Racial-Friendly Campus" commendation as well as the Outstanding Performance Award in the 2nd Little Tour Guide Competition. This kind of a reflection which our school is honoured, and also a recognition of the hard work and dedication of our students. It is particularly worth mentioning that the football team led by Mr. Lam Kin-fai visited Shunde to participate in a football exchange activity, engaging in intense and exciting matches with local students, from which everyone benefited greatly.

在這兩個星期學校為學生安排了很多有意義的試後活動，例如參觀消防局、保齡球活動、踢足毽、劍擊、滑板、體操、躲避盤、國皇棋、木棋、非洲鼓、書法等，另外也有襪偶工作坊、環保車教育、健康飲食攤位、性別平等工作坊、黑虻工作坊、動植物的工作坊、理財講座、環保講座等。這些安排可算是多姿多彩，我們希望回應我們的教學理念—「經歷為本」。讓大家在實踐中學習，令大家大開眼界。

We have arranged a rich and varied array of activities for our students during the summer vacation, including visits to the fire station, bowling, shuttlecock kicking, fencing, skateboarding, gymnastics, dodgeball, chess, Chinese chess, African drums, and calligraphy. We hope that through these activities, students can learn and broaden their horizons through practice. These arrangements can be described as multi-faceted, and we hope to respond to our teaching philosophy of "experience-based learning".

同學們最喜歡的活動應該是在七月八日（星期一），差不多100名老師及學生一起前往屯門市中心的電影院，一起欣賞電腦「玩轉腦朋友2」。同學們要在我們的校本輔導活動—「德」來不「容」易獎勵計劃，全年有好表現，才有機會一起到電影院欣賞。大家在旅遊巴上已經興奮不矣。一進入電影院大家就快快找個座位安靜下來，關上燈後，大家也「嘩」了一聲。在播放電影期間，大家的笑聲不絕。回校之後，老師更為大家整理一下情緒上的知識，讓他們真正了解如何了解自己、好好掌握自己的情緒。衷心多謝老師們如此用心安排及教導學生。

The most popular activity among students was undoubtedly the trip to the Tuen Mun Town Centre cinema on July 8th. Nearly 100 teachers and students watched the movie "Project X: Another Dimension 2" together. This activity was a reward for students who performed excellently in the "Virtue is not Easy" award program, and also a way to encourage their diligent learning. Everyone was excited during the trip, and there was laughter throughout the movie-watching process. Upon returning to school, teachers also conducted knowledge sharing on emotion management, helping students better understand and control their own emotions.)

七月九日（星期二）早上，六年級的家長早上8：15已經準時齊集學校禮堂，而他們的子女也在課室等待，領取他們的派位證。看到家長的焦慮，真的感受他們對自己的子女無微不至的愛。當六年級的同學到達禮堂，第一時間走向家長處報告，有人歡喜有人愁，但大家也用正面的態度面對！今年的派位結果又多了點進步，多位同學派入同一所中學，十分高興！祝願畢業生前程錦繡。同學們派往以下中學：基督教崇真中學、馬錦明慈善基金會馬可賓紀念中學、南屯門官位中學、屯門官立中學、順德聯誼總會譚伯羽中學、妙法寺劉金龍中學、路德會呂祥光中學、東華三院辛亥年總理中學、香海正覺蓮社佛教梁植偉中學、新生命教育協會平安福音中學、孔教學院大成何郭佩珍中學、博愛醫院陳楷紀念中學等。

On 9th July, parents of the Primary 6 students came to the school hall early to wait for their children to receive their allocation slips. Seeing the anxious expressions of the parents, we deeply felt their love and expectations for their children. When the students went to report the allocation results to their parents, everyone faced the outcome with a positive attitude, regardless of the result. This year's allocation results have improved, with many students successfully allocated to their desired secondary schools, including Tsung Tsin College, Stewards MKMCF Ma Ko Pan Memorial College, South Tuen Mun Government Secondary School, Tuen Mun Government Secondary School, Shun Tak Fraternal Association Tam Pak Yu College, Madam Lau Kam Lung Secondary School Of Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery , Lui Cheung Kwong Lutheran College, TWGHs Sun Hoi Directors' College, HHCKLA Buddhist Leung Chik Wai College and NLSI Peace Evangelical Secondary School. We are genuinely delighted for them! We wish all graduates a bright future!

暑假正式開始，祝願大家有一個有意義的假期，緊記好好利用去學習一些新知識及多參加不同的活動去增值自己。九月見！

The summer vacation has officially begun! We wish everyone to spend a fruitful and meaningful vacation, and while enjoying the wonderful time, don't forget to learn new knowledge and participate in various activities to enrich yourselves. See you in September!
